Cable gland elements and assembly instructions

Step 1: Insert the nut and the compression ring on the cable.

Step 2: Screw and tighten the cable gland body and the sealing ring on the junction box.

Step 3: After inserting the cable into the sealing ring, tighten the nut.

Cable gland elements and assembly instructions

Step 1: Screw and tighten the cable gland body and the sealing ring on the junction box.

Step 2: Slip on the cable:

  1. the nut
  2. the Teflon washer
  3. the external sealing ring and the intermediate body
and pre-assemble without tightening.

Step 3: Lock the armor between the two rings.

Step 4: Insert the spacer ring.

Step 5: If the armor were too thick, remove the spacer ring.

Step 6: Insert the cable into the internal sealing ring, keeping the cable under pressure towards the inside of the junction box.

Step 7: Complete the assembly by tightening, first the intermediate body and then the nut.
