Cortem Group continues its educational aims at the Industrial Technical High School Galileo Galilei of Gorizia

A course about plants with risk of explosion and fire due to the presence of combustible gases, vapours or dust

Cortem Group Ex-protected electrical equipment continues its commitment to bring information and knowledge in technical high schools about plants with risk of explosion and fire due to the presence of combustible gases, vapours or dust arousing a growing interest from students and institutions. These high schools in fact, do not usually include in the training programs the study of these important issues which instead characterise the international petrochemical industrial realities and the transformation of the food or manufacturing sector (dust) in everyday life.

Furthermore, Cortem Group completes its commitment to students and schools by joining the school-work project, an innovative teaching method that through practical experience helps to consolidate the knowledge acquired at school. On April 11th and May 9th, Cortem Group Product Manager, Gianpaolo Scanferlini, held three separate courses for about 70 students of the classes 3, 4 and 5, specialisation in mechanics and Electrotechnics.Subject of the courses:

  • Explosion-proof electrical protection in areas with danger of explosion.
  • The world of LEDs and electrical lighting equipment to be installed in Ex classified areas
  • Construction materials for electrical equipment to be installed in Ex classified areas
