SolarEx is a solar energy storage and management system capable of powering an electrical load even in high-risk environments. Its operating principle follows that of a traditional photovoltaic system: solar modules capture solar energy, convert it, and store it in a properly sized battery pack. The stored energy is then used to safely power a lighting fixture certified for use in Zone 1. In its standard configuration, SolarEx can supply a 25W STREETEX-M..025 lighting fixture, ensuring at least 8 hours of autonomy. This is made possible by an 80 Wp PFV-Ex photovoltaic panel and a 32 Ah battery pack housed in a certified CTB series enclosure. An Ex-d EJB-4 series enclosure, instead, contains the main electronics: inverter and MPPT solar charger, essential for optimal energy management.
- Lighting fixture switched on exclusively during nighttime, avoiding waste and extending battery life
- A more powerful model is available for higher lighting requirements
